Anamorphosis

Upon further investigation of my concept (order, chaos and tension in space), I stumbled upon the term "anamorphosis".

"Anamorphosis is the distortion of a perspective wherein the perception of an image is reconstituted into expected normality from a specific vintage point."

Space composition as seen from a single vantage point can offer surprising points of view. There anamorphic illusions by Swiss artist Felice Varnini capture a mind-opening spectacle of geometry applied to three dimensional spaces.

Anamorphosis can be implemented in architecture so that the user is able to discover the underlying organizing geometry and hiding meaning.
